Back from a field trip

We just got back from a learning expedition into the wilds of North Georgia. We went to the First Annual Cherokee Fiddlers Convention in Lafayette, Georgia. It was three days of great learning about the festival circuit,fun, great music, and great jammin in the woods. I played til my fingers had to be taped up to function..Heaven on Earth.

Met and played with  some great players.. The Bibb City Ramblers, Rurik Nunan, Larry Keel, Bobby Miller, The Snake Oil Medicine Show, Zebulon Bowles, Mario Piccolo..Swing King of the Universe :) Made some great new friends, connections, and took some pictures. Now we’re back at home, looking for a great cheap way to post videos, working on our record, and adding an optin-box this week on the blog.
