best_trio_smDirt Road Delight is the Appalachian Soul Foursome made up of award winning songwriter, singer and upright bass player Tedi May, songwriter, singer and acoustic guitaristĀ Jim Hampton, songwriter, singer, harmonica (IST) Kristin Sell, and singer, songwriter and champion fiddle player, Billy Ward.

Dirt Road Delight is inspired to help people have fun and enjoy themselves. They perform original tunes recounting stories of the mountains, moonshine cars, loving the hills, spiritual peace, old traditional Gospel and Bluegrass.

Many of their fans, who they refer to as “Dirt Roadies”, say that the songs remind them of family, community, and love for others, and that they feel healing and joy from listening.

Dirt Road Delight is honored to have the song “Palm of His Hand” included in the Robert Redford Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winning movie filmed in the Missouri Ozarks, “Winter’s Bone.”
